English PEN has selected 'Cellar Child' (Kelderkind) (translated by Antoinette Fawcett) as one of the six titels of 'PEN Presents'15-04-2016
Six European titles are unveiled as the winners of English PEN’s first ‘PEN Presents’ initiative, which aims to draw attention to exciting contemporary books which have not yet been acquired for an Anglophone market. The list, selected from a pool of books submitted by emerging translators across Europe, includes Antoinette Fawcett's translation of literary heavyweight Kristien Dieltiens’s Cellar Child, a gripping YA cross-over novel based on the real-life case of ‘wolf child’ Kaspar Hauser.

'The golden cage' and 'The dog Nino didn't have' nominated for the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis 201618-03-2016
Red (Jan De Kinder) en The dog that Nino didn't have (Edward van de Vendel & Anton Van Hertbruggen) were selected by The Society of Illustrators in the USA for The Original Art exhibition.
Furthermore, Anton Van Hertbruggen was awarded by the Society of Illustrators with a Silver Medal for his picture book. With that he is the first Flemish illustrator ever to receive this award.
