Tommy Tear cried always and everywhere: when he had to eat spinach, when it was time to go to bed, when he was walking to school... One day, Tommy cried so hard that his tears formed a small pond. A bird and a frog discovered the pond and splashed about in it. The next day, the pond was packed with animals. They asked for more tears and called Tommy names when he didn't cry hard enough. In the evening, Tommy didn't have a tear left. A few days later, Tommy showed the pond to Lynn, his best friend. When she heard the animals call Tommy names, she became very angry. Dressed up as a giant cook, the two friends managed to chase away the animals.
A highly imaginative story about an inconsolable little boy.
