- Picture book based on the song Mercy by the French music duo Madame Monsieur
- Based on the true story of baby Mercy and her mother Taiwo

The catchy text and the compelling illustrations tell a hopeful story about boat refugees.

The song Mercy was the French submission by music duo Madame Monsieur (Emilie Satt and Jean-Karl Lucas) for the Eurovision song contest in 2018. It’s the story of baby Mercy who was born on a rescue ship in the Mediterranean Sea. Her mother was 8,5 months pregnant when she stepped into a little boat, looking for a place where she would be safe with her baby.
