Pete Power wants a pet, but not a boring one: no dog, cat or goldfish. Pete Power wants a dragon. Because a dragon is powerful. His parents don’t agree: a dragon is too big and eats too much. Pete Power is angry and tries to think up a plan. While wandering around, he hears a fearful growl. A dragon, Pete thinks and goes looking for it. In a shed, he finds a dog. At first, Pete is disappointed but when the dog growls loudly he becomes a bit frightened. Yet the dog only wants to play. The dog has puppies and Pete is very glad when he may choose one. He calls it Dragon.
