All summer, Swallow and Chick were together. When Swallow left for the south in autumn, Chick stayed sadly behind. To her, the winter was cold and seemed to last forever. When spring finally arrived, Swallow returned. He talked endlessly about the wonders of the south: sweet-smelling flowers, juicy fruit and giant butterflies. "Oh, how I would love to go to the south as well," Chick sighed. But as she neither could fly nor swim, this was impossible. Then Swallow had a good idea: he brought the south to Chick by putting exotic fruit and paper butterflies in the trees. Chick was over the moon!
A warm story about friendship and solving problems.
